
Oscar is a junior research assistant at Florida International University’s NDCLab. He earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from FIU in 2023. His research interests include cognitive dissonance, emotion regulation, meaning formation, and decision-making; aligning with his goal of pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, Oscar is intrigued by the mind-body interaction problem, particularly the interplay between cognitive control and neural processes. Complementing his education, he engages with classical literature to enrich his clinical perspective and inspire both his psychological and philosophical inquiries.
